How it began
TRIGO was founded by Markus Dulghier, Christian Hubinger and David Wippel — developers, turned entrepreneurs who have been in the industry for over twenty years. Throughout the years, they have seen customers being kept out of the loop and glitchy quick fix software implemented while knowing there had to be a better way.
Ever since the trio joined forces, they have been dedicated to building remarkable custom business software, perfecting development processes, and sharing successes with their customers.
With Loxone joining as a major shareholder in 2022, TRIGO took its next significant leap forward. No longer just another small software shop, the company gained increasing momentum in the field of cloud-native infrastructure and service development, thanks to a growing number of ongoing global-scale projects.
After David's departure in mid-2023, Markus and Christian made the strategic decision to shift the company's focus even more towards cloud-native service development, OpenShift infrastructure consulting, and managed services. With TRIGO as the developer and maintainer of mission critical Loxone cloud services, the company established a strong presence in the Austrian IoT landscape and remains committed to further expanding its influence in this domain.
